Our adventure began Saturday afternoon in Belpre. We loaded our camping equipment, bikes, and fishing poles onto the sternwheeler and then set sail for Blennerhassett Island. After we set up our camp, we had lunch and time for fishing and bicycling. We all toured the mansion together, some of us for the first time, and then fished, hiked, and biked some more. We had dinner and then ghost stories around the camp fire.
After breakfast on Sunday morning, our unsuspecting Tigers went on a hike that included the infamous “Larry Shortcut.” They came back a couple of hours later … just in time for lunch.
