- Mid Ohio Valley Pinewood Derby Challenge
- Please note that this is not a cub scout event, so do not wear uniforms. Scout t-shirts are ok.
- Online registration is due by May 8.

- Committee Meeting
- We will be making graduation items and will finalize our summer schedule.
- All parents are invited to attend.
Saturday, May 19, 5:00 p.m.
- Graduation at McDonough Park
- In case of rain, the ceremony will be moved to the scout room at Wayside. The time and date will stay the same. If we need to move to Wayside, please use the back door because their are other activities scheduled in the church.
- Please dress in your uniform. You will need to bring a Bear handbook, neckerchief, and slide for the ceremony.
- The ceremony will be followed by a hike and then s’mores. Don’t forget to bring camp chairs.
Sunday, May 20, 1:30 p.m.
- Our last den meeting for the school year will be at Mountwood Park. We will earn our Ultimate Belt Loop at this meeting.
- We will also have a picnic following the game. Each family should bring hot dogs or hamburgers to grill and a side dish to share.
- Tiger Den 5 will be joining us.
Saturday, June 2, 8:00 a.m.
- Operation In As Much at Wayside United Methodist Church
- Our scouts are invited to participate in this service project to help with yard clean up for local elderly residents.
- Please let John or Stephanie know if you would like to participate.
June 4, 5, and 6
- Scout Room Work Day beginning at 6:00 p.m. each evening.
- We will be sorting, cleaning, and building in our scout room at Wayside and will need parent volunteers to help!
June 21-23, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. each day
- Blennerhassett District Day Camp
- Registration for day camp will be collected at our graduation ceremony, with the final deadline in early June.
- Cost is $40 for Cubs and $50 for Webelos.
- Each scout will need to bring a lunch, swimsuit, and plenty of water. Fishing gear will be needed on Saturday.
- We still need at least two more parent volunteers to assist with our pack each day!

- West Virginia Power Baseball Game and Campout
Sunday, August 19
- Soap Box Derby
- We will work on our den car in early August.
